Tomb Raider Remastered Review. Is It Worth Playing?

Tomb raider remastered review

Tomb Raider Remastered runs great! Whether on PC or Steam Deck, it adjusts easily to my screen's best quality, no hassle.

I felt let down when I saw the old graphics choices were gone. Instead, I found a boring EULA to read.

Besides adjusting a few basic control and sound settings, there's hardly anything else I can mess around with here.

The framerate stayed steady while I quickly switched between the updated graphics and the classic style with just a button press.

The toggle works anytime, even during cutscenes, menus, fonts, and loading screens.

Sometimes, it's eerily silent, with only Lara's grunts as she navigates ancient structures. Other times, she's blasting away with her dual pistols at dinosaurs.

Tomb raider remastered review

Playing these remasters reminded me how great the original trilogy was, flaws and all. Every puzzle solved felt like a satisfying win, just like I remembered.

The remaster shows that some parts of the games should've stayed buried. This collection captures both the best and worst of Lara Croft's adventures.

At the end, Remastered is worth playing
