Skydance New Media and Marvel Games unveil "Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra" with a 2025 release date in a new trailer.

Trailer: revealed more about the game’s setting and four playable characters: 

Young Steve Rogers, Azzuri, the WWII-era Black Panther and T’Challa’s grandfather; Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos; and Nanali.

"Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra" marks the debut game from Skydance New Media, led by Amy Hennig (former creative director of Uncharted series) and Julian Beak (Electronic Arts veteran).

The studio revealed its Marvel project in 2021 as "a story-focused action game with an original Marvel story."

Skydance New Media is also working on a Star Wars game. Additionally, Electronic Arts has a Black Panther game in development at Cliffhanger Games.
